Aparna Joshi
Panchakarma Therapist · CIDESCO Certified · Reiki Grandmaster
Aparna is deeply passionate about promoting wellness and harmony in everyday life through the ancient healing science of Ayurveda. With extensive training in Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapy, she honed her skills over years of hands-on practice in Pune, India, working closely with Ayurvedic doctors and Vaidyas in hospitals and clinics.
Her expertise is further enhanced by an international CIDESCO certification specializing in Abhyanga Ayurvedic therapy. Since moving to the U.S., Aparna has blended this classical knowledge with the intuitive wisdom gained through her dedicated Panchakarma practice, offering deeply healing and personalized care to her clients.
She is also a Reiki Grandmaster, trained under the lineage of her teacher, Pia Vasanti — a sacred lineage that includes the training of monks in the Dalai Lama Camp in Tibet. Her global practice spans Japan, India, and the United States, with specializations in Bastis, Shirodhara, and Abhyanga therapies. In 2018, Aparna was recognized for her exceptional therapeutic skills by the Pranavteertha Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with Georgia University’s Study Abroad Program, at a conference on Ayurveda for the Stressful Pluralistic Society. In the U.S., she has also served as an Ayurveda instructor for Spa Therapy at the Elizabeth Grady Massage School, continuing her mission to bring the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda into modern holistic health practices.
